About
UCLA Philharmonia is the flagship orchestra of the Herb Alpert School of Music and one of Southern California's premiere training orchestras, performing core symphonic, operatic, and contemporary repertoire two to three programs per quarter.

How to join
Composed almost entirely of music majors; qualified non-majors may audition for violin and other positions as needed. General auditions are held at the beginning of each Fall Quarter.
