What Bruin Clubs is

Bruin Clubs is an independent, free directory of student groups at UCLA. It is not run, endorsed or verified by the University of California, Los Angeles, and it does not speak for any club. Club details come from public sources: UCLA's registry of student organizations, school and department pages, UCLA Recreation, and each club's own website and social media, as described on the About page.

We work to keep it accurate, but clubs change their meetings, deadlines and requirements often. Confirm anything that matters with the club itself. For anything official, UCLA's own organization search is the tiebreaker.

Accounts

• You need an account only to like clubs and to keep your saved clubs across devices. Give a real email address you can read, and keep your password to yourself.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• We may suspend an account that abuses the site, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time through the contact page.

Using the site fairly

• Do not try to break, overload or get around the site's security, rate limits or sign-in.
• Do not copy the directory in bulk with automated tools, or republish it as your own.
• Do not send false updates, pretend to be a club's officer, or use the feedback form for advertising.

Club information and corrections

Descriptions are either a club's own words or a summary of its public pages, and each club page says which, with a link to the source where there is one. They belong to the clubs that wrote them. A club's officers can correct or update its listing, or ask for it to be removed, with the "Run this club? Update its listing" link on the club's page. We check updates against the club's own public pages before publishing them.

The guides, the site's design and its code are ours.

Ads and links to other sites

Some pages show ads served by Google. An ad is not an endorsement by Bruin Clubs or by any club. Links to a club's website, forms, group chats and social media lead to sites we do not control, with their own terms and privacy policies. How we and our ad provider handle data is on the privacy page.

No guarantees

Bruin Clubs is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its information, including a missed deadline, a closed form or a club that has changed its plans.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date below says when they last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go through the contact page.
